Emma Grover is an artist/ printmaker working in the North West of England. She exhibits nationally and has been awarded various awards including the Michael Rothenstein Trophy, the Artichoke Print workshop prize, the Gavin Graham Gallery Award and was a major Lowick House Print Workshop Award Winner.
Emma finds inspiration from people, objects and things from the world around her. This co-exists with a more absurd world of the imagination where strange creatures go about their daily business. Although traditional processes such as etching and collagraph are used to produce editions much of the work does not necessarily follow the conventions of printmaking. Often unique, rather than replicated, images are made that then incorporate painted, drawn and mono printed marks
